BACKGROUND

1988 - Amir Agani, Mr. Ph. founded a pharmacy called “Aesculap”, which very soon became one of the best private pharmacies in Former Yugoslavia

1990 - We developed our field of operation to wholesale trade and medication supply. We distributed expendable medicinal supplies, sanitation supplies, chemical and pharmaceutical substances, as well as cosmetic supplies

1995 - Our company was qualified as one of the ten most successful pharmaceutical wholesale companies in former Yugoslavia

1999 - Our company suffered great material losses (around 1.5 million €) during the war in Kosova

2000 - The Company becomes “Aesculap - Agani” and spreads its cooperation outside Kosova. After the war, we cooperated with international organizations such as: UNMIK, Mercy Corps (USA), European Agency for reconstruction, Medecins Du Monde- France; IMC international (USA), UN Clinic, US Office in Prishtina, UNOPS, BBI, Canadian office, USAID, French Red Cross, Kosova Red Cross, Swiss Red Cross, etc.

2003 - Being a family company, it transforms into “AGANI” and becomes authorized dealer of 25 foreign producers

2005 - The company sets the cornerstone for the new premises of 4500sqm in Prishtina, Veternik region

2006 - October, AGANI LTD moved to the new premises fully equipped and in accordance with high European standards for Storage and Distribution of Medical Products

2007 - Very promising first year in new GDP standard building
